Action Photography: What I have learned.

Zone Focus: Focus on a single shot prior to the action occuring, be prepared.

Shutter Speed: Freezing Action; less than or equal to 300.
Capturing Action; Low shutter speed.

Panning: Move lens w/ the movement of the action.

Waiting for the Pause: Wait til subject slows down or stops.

Sport Name: Girls JV Softball.

Safty Shots: Batter, Pitcher, Running shots.
Money shots: The team that wins, and anything totally amazing.
